MacBean is a colour painting application for the Macintosh.
MacBean was developed entirely by me as an experiment - I wanted to see if I could write a useful application. I also wanted to provide some justification for buying the book "Mac Programming FAQs", which, at the time, cost a fair bit more then I could afford to spend! The code was developed with the aid of the sample code provided with that book. The name comes from an IRC user using the nickname MacBean some years ago.

I have lost interest in this program and I have no plans to update it at this time. MacBean has been far surpassed by other programs, for example the Paint section of AppleWorks. Most of the source code is available to registered users (for personal use only) on request.
